Blogging part 4: Advertising your blog and sponsorship

You do have to some sort of a niche. Nowadays virtually any blogger has this sort of thing. We explain the things that you should do.

One example of a logo

Logo
It's a must and its the first thing that people see when they come to your page. Logos need to be simple and about your blog.

Business cards
Most bloggers have some sort of a business card that they bring to every blogger meeting and other things such as restaurants.
It is just a simple statement about your blog. By now you should have worked out your brand and you can just easily incorporate that and your logo.
You may have to do a few designs in Publisher to get this right.

Email forms
They are one way of keeping in touch with your readers. They too need to be simple yet effective.

Newsletters
Most people use email nowadays, so you need a simple and effective one. Mail Chimp can help you set this up.

Social media such as Twitter and Facebook
Twitter and Facebook is one way to advertise your blog online and to help you build traffic. Don't forget to respond to people's questions within 24 hours.

Making a page on Facebook is easy as and Facebook has a few templates that you can use. Do post to the page often as you'll lose followers if you don't.

PR Blogger companies
Some of them have a pay per post and assignment tasks and others are pay per view.  You could also try writing for Weekend notes as they pay about $0.01 per view and you can win certain awards. They also offer freebies in exchange for reviews.
Bloggers required also has weekly assignments posted by companies and they have different rates per piece.
