I was invited by RMIT university to attend their gallery opening.
The opening was at RMIT's usual place of First site gallery at 5:30pm on a Tuesday.
The Matter at Hand was part of Virgin Melbourne's Fashion Festival. Here uni students formed teams and designed a fashion concept within two hours during the festival and their work was showcased at the exhibition. The best groups won prizes.
There were prizes up for grabs such as the short courses and magazine subscriptions.
Here we were treated to some stunning fashion designs by RMIT students.
We also were treated to someTurkish bread, chips, wine, fruits etc. But they were always the same stuff that you get at an opening.

A week later there was also a talk on which I forgot to book a space for it.
RMIT University and Link Arts and Culture always have gallery openings for the public every two weeks so you shall check these out as soon as you can.
