Last Saturday at 1202/131 (MiCasa8 student apartments), Pelham Street, Carlton, an Indian student fell off his balcony. Here Katherine shares the story.
Last Saturday I was at home doing my usual things when I heard the news. It was very shocking .The first time I heard the news was on the Meld site
A few days later I knew it was an Indian student (Anubhav Singh Gahlot) from RMIT. He was 20 years old and studying Economics and Finance. His uncle owns Guragon apartments in India and said that the student was lively and claims that "He was not depressed, but might have been murdered". He and his family have been in touch with each other ever since he arrived.
He will be sorely missed by the RMIT Indian club. In fact the Indian club plans on having a memorial for him at his house shortly. RMIT was greatly saddened by the death.
