It is on every Sunday and its a farmers market for all. It is a very dog friendly market and I got to pat many beautiful dogs. It is at Mt Alexander college which is in front of a tram stop. From the city take the number 59 tram and its about a fifteen minute ride.
What greeted us was plants and the La Tortilleria stand selling Tameles for $5 and packs of tortillas for eight.

In fact we enjoyed some wonderful samplings from a lot of businesses such as Flinders Island meat (known for wallaby and game) to the Sourdough bakery's offerings.
Also what else greeted us was berries and cherries and a stall sold them for $5 a cup with cream. A lovely summer's day treat. I saw the lady cutting up all the pieces.
One of the things that I like a is a humble gozleme or a humble egg breakfast whilst there as its not everyday that you see these sorts of food. Being city guys we don't see these farmers foods very often.
Of course I enjoyed them. That and the sausage and sauce tastings.
Of course I did not go home empty handed. We bought a bag a bag of chickpeas for $5
Do go to the Sunday Flemington markets when you have a chance. It is open from 9am-1pm and most stallholders are cash only.
