N2 Extreme Gelato

N2 Gelato is the new kid on the block in Melbourne. They are a ice cream shop which came from Sydney. Everything is made fresh on the premises.

I had read many reviews about the Sydney store and had really high expectations for the Melbourne store.

All the gelato is made in store Heston Blumenthal style. Hence it takes a while for it to come. But when it does come it is dense and filling.  They use liquid nitrogen to make their ice creams.

That was why there was a wait and a queue.

Here a single serve is $6. You could do two serves but they say that one is enough. And rightly so. I was in the mood for sorbet so I had the mango sorbet that day.

The ice cream was quite smooth. Someone else's salted chocolate (probably another blogger as she was taking photos) looked very attractive.

The creme brulee looked just as appealing and very smooth.

All in all it was yummy. I can't wait to come back here in the summer and I hope that this store will be just as popular as Sydney.
