How to write a letter at Uni

Sometimes during your course of study you may need to write a letter. That might be to appeal an assesment, exclusion or another deicision of the unversity. This guide should be able to help you out.

If it is an assesment result first of all you need to speak to your school and your lecturer and ask if you can review your assesment and that is by emailing them. This is so that you can start a paper trail if need be.

You may need to see a student rights officer if things don't go your way,. They can help you write your letter for you, but they cannot do it all for you. You are going to have to do some of it yourself as well as provide the documentation yourself. RMIT will want to see lots and lots of documents explaining the reason.
And next year they will want to see even more stuff. And it will be a lot harder to appeal

Always end the letter with a Yours sincerly and Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Make sure there are no spelling mistakes or errors.
