Victoria now has discounted passes

International students can now buy half price tickets this year. We explain this important announcement

Last year the state government introduced the new scheme. It is a three year trial which is about to commence this year. It was only years after many campaigns from the local councils and student unions.

 Now International students from participating unis and major unis can buy the discounted yearly zone 1 and 2 for $750 (half price). A normal full year is about $1500+. The unis have subsardised some of the cost and it is only available to full time undergraduate students.

  • St Stephen Institute of Education Pty Ltd
  • Swinburne University
  • The Imperial College of Australia
  • University Institute of Technology Pty Ltd
  • University of Divinity
  • Victoria University

  • How to buy it

    First of all you need to apply to the uni for your code and once you get it you can use it.
    Simply sign up to the Iuse site and use the Uni's discount code. Each university will give you one on enrolment. Then simply buy your pass online using your credit/debit card.
