The Cheesecake shop

The Cheesecake shop has been around for a very long time and they do great cakes. The full cakes are really big and its perfect for a party size of about 40 people

Well but my party was about 20 people and it was more of a potluck dinner. Ordering the cake online is easy. I did this just a few days beforehand. Deciding on the cake was pretty easy too as everyone loved a good Black Forest cake and I was in the mood for this.

I saw that they were participating in the Entertainment book program so that was another excuse to give them a go. They offer a 25% off the total bill. Online there are two choices of payment- you can pay in store or online. I wasn't sure whether they accepted the discount online so I paid in store.

The cake is normally $17.95 but with the discount it is $12.50. This is quite reasonable for a huge half portion of Black Forrest cake which we all enjoyed. This one didn't have a lot of cream to it which is good. It tasted chocolatey and it was really moist. But presentation wise it was a bit meh as I had accidentally squashed it on the train (it was peak hour). My bad. They put the cake in a huge full sized box which was a little too big and hard to put in my bag.

Do visit the Cheesecake shop as there are many stores around Melbourne. They even have $2-$7 cakes at the end of the day. The Cheesecake shop is usually opened between 9am-7pm each day but it depends on the store itself

Editors note: The Cheesecake shop is offering Entertainment members 25% discount off the total bill so do buy your membership from this page.
