The Lord Mayors Student welcome

The welcome was on a lovely sunny day in Melbourne and it was at the same place of City Square.

There were heaps of free activities going on such as reptile sightings. There was also face painting which proved to be popular. There was also the popular Jenga game.

The dancers from Cook Island

I really loved the fashion runway for the glitz and the glamour of the dresses. Many of the models wore sky high heels which I thought some of them did not feel very comfortable in them. Not many models were smiling.  I would have loved to have seen some more smiles, particularly from the Asian ones.

Many thanks to the City of Melbourne for hosting this wonderful event for students and we hope to see you in Semester 2 2014
