Palazzo restaurant is a family owned Italian restaurant in Maribynong where the Victoria University student village is. The lady that served us was really friendly. She asked us how everything went a few times and she cleared the tables when we finished. It is at an old army site. Route 82 trams service the area and it is five minutes walk from Highpoint. There is ample parking outside but there is a special way to get into the restaurant, which is go around the back to get to the other side where the entrance is.
Friend A's chicken (I can't remember the price of this but it is around $23).

It was very quiet when I arrived which was at 5.30pm on a Friday night. There was one other couple there. It reminded me of the Duke of Kent and I love that feeling. I went there with Friend A. The decor was rustic and there is a courtyard, but we didn't check it out because it was too hot that day.
There wasn't a lot of music there which I liked.
They really specialise in pizza. I had a small Hawaiian pizza for $11 and it was big. It filled me right up. It was perfectly done, just the right way. The crust was not too thin and not too thick, which I liked. Friend A loved her chicken.
We were so full when we finished.
They take EFTPOS/ Credit cards and cash as payment.
I would love to come back if I had the chance.
