How much money can you spend per month? What sort of device do you have? Is it a laptop, iPad or a normal computer?

Most mobile phone plans these days have internet and Facebook on them.

How much do you use the Internet? Do you use it everyday or only just once or twice a week?Or are you someone that prefers to go on campus and use their Internet.

There are different plans which suit everyone. We love Dodo as it is fast and cheap, but you might have other ideas.

Some of them are more expensive and others are prepaid. Do shop around for the best plan as there is always one deal that suits you best.

If you are someone who cannot afford (or forgets) to pay their bill on time, prepaid is a better option. You know how much money you are spending. You can top up with however much money you want. There are prepaid caps to suit every budget.

If you are someone that can pay every month, then a plan is better for you. Just be wary though if the company does $0 upfront for a handset it means that you would have to pay more than just the calls and service fees each month to cover the contract. You usually would be in a contract. Contracts are very hard and expensive to get out of so think carefully before you buy.

Some of them come on a stick and others come on a CD.

Current students: what are your tips for buying Broadband? Do give us your tips below.
