This is a free event for everyone except for some of the events inside the church.

It is in its sixth year but I have yet to experience it. This years theme is Illuminate which means that it is an after dark festival. The festivals hours each day are from 6pm- 12am/1am.

A lot of artworks will be shown all over the apartment buildings at night for about 10 evenings. This aims to bring people together and support young and emerging artists. At that time there are 30  artists some of which are students from RMIT. From Photography to painting there is something to please everyone.

RMIT University is one of their partners in this project.

There is a closing and opening night party which will be held at the Festivals hub  (Festival Hub located upstairs at Gertrude’s Brown Couch
30 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy, Victoria, 3065, Australia)

Trams from the city service Gertrude st every ten to twenty minutes.

Do come along and show your support for the RMIT students and other artists.
