Teapo is a new tea place that just opened a few months ago in Bourke st right in the Fashion park place which is very small and dingy. But they do sell cute stuff though.
I was only in here for the tea but did have a chance to wander around the place.
Like all Asian places there are many different types of tea here. So they are really competing against other tea places for customers. But they do have free WI-FI though.
There is not much food here except for the creme caramel for $4.80 for a whole big jar. I couldn't finish it all in one go. I would have liked to see more food though. I'm not sure if you can bring food in from the outside.
There was only one lonely guy serving at the tea place.
Their speciality is mixed teas with lots and lots of fruit in it. I had a hot green tea with apple powder in it for $4.30 for a large cup. It was luke warm and not too sweet. I like my teas to be hot and not too sweet with plenty of flavour in it.
I'd love to come back and try the iced teas, maybe with Bureaucrat in the warmer months.
