There are a lot of services that offer student welfare and support for free. Here is just a list of some of them.
1) The couch- 69 Bourke st. It offers free food and the chance to mingle with other students. Open from 5pm-9pm Sunday- Wednesday nights. No appointment necessary.
2) Australian Federation of International Students
3) RMIT International Students Information and Support- They are in the city campus in Building 14 Student Services area. You need to make an appointment to see an adviser.
4) Travellers Aid
