New York Minute

RNIS went with Happy Leandro bloggers as part of a Groupon deal.

New York Minute is in Moonee Ponds which about a one minutes walk from the tram stop and a twenty minute walk from the station.

It is a small cafe which is opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bathrooms are out the back and are outside behind a fence.

The service wasn't too bad. In fact it was fast. The waitress was very friendly.

We sat outside on this pleasant evening.

My veggie burger was first to come and then the beef brisket one. Both our plates came with chips which were a little overcooked. The patty was good in my burger but the bun was a little bit dry and sweet. Leandro really enjoyed his burger and said that it was the best one every had. In fact New York Minute won quite a few awards for their burgers.

The chips weren't overly salty but they were a bit overcooked though. Just a little.

Its not bad for a local burger joint. In fact Moonee Ponds needs something like this and I hope they stay around for long and win an Age Cheap Eats award. I hope that somebody from the Age visits soon as the Age don't visit a lot of places in the suburbs.
