I visited the only Red Rooster in the city this week and that is at Southern Cross location. The one in the Bourke st Mall has closed.
It is $3 for a regular and $2 for a small one. But if you use the Entertainment book's discount voucher for the regular it can easily feed a very hungry student for a mere $3.
Sauces used to be for free but now it is $0.40 extra per sauce.
But the chips are good without the sauce for this location. Other locations though such as Chadstone I have heard are bad and undercooked. But in here it was pretty good. They were perfectly fried that day and I loved the chicken salt that went with it. You don't get that anywhere else.
I would love to see sweet potato fries on their menu.
Editors note: Red Rooster has three buy one get one free offers in this years app/book in which you can buy $65 from us.
