Mind Body Spirit festival

This is a sponsored post as I was asked by the organizer to review the place. All thoughts are my own.

This festival has been running for about 5-6 years now and it was always at the Melbourne Exhibition centre. A ticket costs $16. Included in the price is a free novel, samples, masterclasses and five minute massages. Psychic reading is $45 and you need to make an appointment. For most of the seminar they were busy.

The festival runs twice a year now- one in June and the other in November.

To get there just simply jump on the number 96 tram and it will drop you at the door. Parking around that area is very expensive.

When you enter you'll see lots and lots of gems which remind you of Aladdin's cave. But there are some healthy food on site for our healthy bodies.

The festival is about living well and being healthy. Here I picked up many tips by many experts as to how to live a healthy lifestyle.

There were many seminars which covered health and wellbeing. At the end of some of the seminars there are free tastings and recipes. One of them I attended was about detoxifying your life, which meant removing all the stress from our lifestyles. One of them is to eat right. A lot of students eat junk and that's not good for the body. We were shown how to make your own toothpaste as well as making a few different types of smoothies.

At one stage I got a free massage which relaxed me.  Also patting the dogs relaxed me as I'm a dog person and I cannot keep dogs in my place (the landlord won't allow it).

I got to try some lovely hot chocolate.

There was a lovely nougat stall as well as a Pretzel stall for those that are hungry.

Many thanks for the invite and I can't wait to come again next year. Students it is worth your while to come to the festival and get lots and lots of tips about living healthily. For those that went this year, what did you get out of it?

For 2014 show dates you can check out their site
