Printing for uni can be expensive or cheap depending on which way you look at it.
Costs for a three year period (600 sheets of printing)
@RMIT- it costs about $0.11c per page- For a three years it is $66.The printing at Uni is not great and during the busy times there just might be a queue.
Or you can buy the printed lecture notes for about $20 each, hence for the three years it would cost about $240 altogether
@ Home- a printer costs anywhere between $200-$500. And a stack of 500 sheets costs somewhere between $4-$7 depending on where you buy it. There's no print queues and you can print whenever you want. Or you can borrow your flatmates printer if you need
@Officeworks- a card is $1 and printing is $0.08 per page- three years worth it would be $48.
Whichever works for you. But Officeworks is the cheapest way of printing things. And during this years orientation I got a $5 printing card from them.
