On Wednesdays there is free lunch run by the student union in RMIT. It is a bbq with vegetarian options. It attracts 1000's of students. There are long lines as everyone wants a sausage or veggie burger. I've had one before and they are delicious.
There's also free cider as well.
It was a nice sunny day when I went. I loved hanging outside with all the people as well as the music and the free drinks.
I also loved looking at the market for free.
Be quick or you miss out. It only just runs once a week in a semester in city campus/Brunswick and Bundoora campus
