Trailer Park

Trailer Park is a once a month event in Melbourne featuring four different food trucks. The food trucks changes from month to month depending on availabilities. The event is in Ormond Hall at Village Melbourne. Villages Melbourne is in Mowbray st just off St Kilda Road so it is easy to get there by tram. A few trams pass by Mowbray st. It is about a twenty minute walk from Swinburne uni in Prahran.

Trailer Park is usually on the third weekend of each month. It was on Facebook where I found out about this event. I went there during happy hour where drinks were under $10 at the Village. That day I wasn't really in the mood for food having ate so much at Hari Raya. So I settled on lemonade ($3.50) and decided to check out the bar and the food offerings.

The music at Ormond Hall was great and when you enter it you'll be transported to the 1950's. The decor is 1950's style which I loved looking at.

This month's food offerings were from White Guy Cooks Thai, Waffleworks and Taco Truck. Pizza Wagon was supposed to come but their truck broke down. The servings looked rather small from White Guy and now all of their mains are at $12.50 each. The tacos were a little bit bigger at $6 each and the chips with guacamole was enough to feed a small army.

The waffle looked rather small and at $9 it is expensive for one waffle and ice cream. In the city they are $3-$6 each.

Lets see whats in store for next month. If you are on Facebook it is worth following Trailer Park for the latest updates.
