Know the line campaign

Know the Line campaign has just started this year and its for everyone that works in any industry.
Employees at Your Thai by RMIT Newintstudents

A campaign by the Human Rights Commission. The Human Rights Commission has joined forces with many of the workers and employers unions as well as business groups to bring together this policy.

The campaign is about sexual harassment in the workforce. Many students don't know about sexual harassment in the workplace and that it is wrong. It is wrong to sleep with the boss or for them to give you sexual toys if you are a woman.

Too often many International students don't understand workplace rights and they get bullied by their boss or other employees. This is a real concern to CISA who time and time again has mentioned this issue at their conference.

The aim of this campaign is to encourage bystanders to say something if they witness it.

Sexual Harassment in the workplace decreases productivity and morality for everyone. It is not only for the victim but its also for those that see and hear it.

Inappropriate touching, hugging, leering etc is not allowed in the workplace

If you see it you should raise it with your boss. If you can't you can go to Fair Work Australia.
