Nite art

When: On the 24th of July from 6pm-11pm.
Where: All over Melbourne's CBD and at North Melbourne

It is free for all. There are walks, talks, openings and exhibitions of mixed medias. A lot of Melbourne artists will showcase their work to the public at that time.

Nite art is a new way to connect with people and artworks. There will be 21 gallery openings on that night. There are 56 artists all showcasing their work on the night.

Oh and of course there is food. I'm not sure if there will be any special offers on the night. But keep an eye out for them.

It is run be industry professionals who are wanting new ways to talk about and experience art. They all have a shared passion for visual arts and culture in Melbourne. The founding partners include Deborah Stahle, founder of Artwalk Melbourne; Andrea Nixon of branding and communications consultancy, Nixon Counsel; Andrew Ashton, leading communication and creative specialist, writer and artist behind Work Art Life; and Jason McQuoid, director of new photography gallery, Edmund Pearce.
