At risk

So you got a less desirable result (ie. not even a pass) for two of your subjects this semester?
Then you will be put "At risk" by RMIT's policies.
You will then need to explain to your school what happened. It is normal for students to be put at "At risk" each semester.
Hints:
* Don't just pretend that everything is ok. This is your chance to explain to your school as to what happened during the semester
* If you need to, you can appeal your results. But do so sooner rather than later.
* If a result needs to be amended tell your school
* Use RMIT services before you go to your meeting. They are free for students. This way if you go it will show RMIT that you are serious about passing
* DO go to your meeting. If you don't go you won't be able to tell your side of the story. This is really serious.
* If you feel nervous it is ok to ask the Student Union to help you. They have student rights officers willing to go to meetings with you
* If you have a complaint about RMIT services make it. But also let your school know. Then they would know that you are serious about not failing the next semester.
* If you didn't get special consideration for the exam/s explain it to the school. It's a reason why you failed
This is less serious than exclusion so no need to feel too nervous
