Breadtop and Aunty Lil's at Highpoint

Given that it was such a warm day and I didn't feel like dumplings and waiting in the queues for dumplings at Dumplings Plus, I went to Breadtop. Here they are self serve and there was no queue when I was there.

I had the triple spring onion ($2) and the bacon and cheese roll ($2.50). The triple spring onion was so peppery.

The bacon and cheese roll was lovely. It was freshly baked as it had that bakery smell and was soft like a pillow.

Then as I exited Highpoint I went to Aunt Lil's. Aunt Lil's is a little cafe in the middle of the food court that specialises in desserts and pretzels. They also do soft serve yoghurt at $2.60 for 100 grams.

They have many specials like Super Saturday where it is buy one get one free for yoghurt.

The yoghurt is much better than the ones at Yo-get-it. I had the strawberry yoghurt which was much more flavoursome and denser. I loved the pearls today, but thought that the lychee was a bit dried out for my liking. I was really obsessed with my fruits.

For my fruit obsession I paid $7.95

I'd rather come back to Aunt Lil's anyday with the friendly service and the great tasting yoghurt. Too bad that so many other places have gone crazy for the froyo in Highpoint.

As for Breadtop its just ok. Its great for when you need lunch just before the movie or a quick bite.
