AFL Grand Final 2013 and where to celebrate it

The AFL Grand Final is a once a year event that happens in late September. A ticket to the Grand Final costs nearly $200 alone. But you can celebrate it on the cheap.
Here are a few places as to where to celebrate this once in a year opportunity. And no it is not the MCG where it is very expensive.

This year it is Hawthorn vs Fremantle.
1) Your House- everyone brings something. Here you can bake a cake and decorate it in your favourite footy teams colours. You could even decorate your house with balloons and streamers but that is entirely up to you. But just don't leave it til the last minute or otherwise you might just find that your favourite store has run out of them.

2) Aer bar- which primarily the European bar. The European bar offers food at decent prices sometimes for half the price.

3) The Boatbuilders Yard- you can watch the final on their live screen tv whilst enjoying a BBQ.

4) Asian Beer Cafe and other bars which offer free BBQ's on the day.

You could also paint your face with face paint, but that is entirely up to you. Fremantles colours are purple and white, whilst Hawthron has brown and yellow. Face paint can easily be found in $2 shops.

But the important thing is to have fun whilst celebrating.
