Gyoza Douraku

Gyoza Douraku is a Japanese cheap eat. I have read that Curious Charlie and other bloggers enjoyed it for its pork gyoza. Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling which is either pan fried or boiled.

It is run by Japanese too which is a good sign of things to come. It is only a small bar. And they do have happy hour which is after 3pm. After 3pm a plate of these gyoza (6 pieces ) is $3.50. What a BARGAIN!!!!

Everything else here is $6.50 per plate and they do have some monthly specials. Like Ajisen Ramen they have a membership program. But for this one you had to pay $10 just for birthday goodies and other things. I don't get why you would pay $10 for membership.

The gyoza was good. It was a little on the small side but was still good. They packed a lot of punch in there and the sauce was punchy as.

The udon was good but I think it had a lot of msg in there.  The udon was silky and smooth and I enjoyed the seaweed. The garlic went well with it.

Also the tamagoyaki was not too sweet and also a steal for $6.50 a plate. It was a light starter and it was what I needed.

Rating: 17/20- ENJOY. Students come here  for your cheap eats fix. P.s it was fun to make your own dipping sauce from the soy sauce and vinegar and the waitress was great at explaining this to me. You can add chilli and garlic if you want.
