As part of Bupa's best blog competition for 2015
There was just one Virgin Active club and now there is two. This latest one as reviewed by RNIS is located at the corner of Spencer and Collins st in the free tram zone.
Virgin Active Health Clubs have been around for quite some time. When I think of them I think of Virgin Australia airlines which offer premium and friendly service as well as the food. I also think about the Velocity business class lounge and here they have applied this same design element.
They have a pool, yoga room, lots more gym equipement, state of the arts studios and even a rock climbing wall for all those rock climbing enthusiasts. I am not one of them.
Here the food mainly pastries is the same quality as the ones that you get on the airline. It is of excellent quality and so is their coffees and hot chocolates.
They have teamed up with Cupp so you will get the best nutritional meals according to your calorie needs and it states so in the menu.
Their membership fees are about $30.90 per week but you'll get access to the pool, spa and 250 classes. And their activation fee is $160, but if you go for the 12 month access it is $60. Included is a fitness plan and loads of support.
So what are you waiting for? Give them a call now to see how they can help you with your fitness goals or visit the branch.
The branch is at: 567 Collins st, Melbourne.
