RNIS was invited by Study Melbourne to visit the farm during the annual tulip festival.
There were lots and lots of beautiful flowers and scenery and words cannot describe it.
The tulip farm is an hour and a half away from Melbourne via train and bus, a place called Silvan (zone 2). Buses run one on the hour but on the weekends there is a special bus to get you there at $3 per person return. It is very muddy up there and you're bound to get your feet dirty so don't wear your good shoes up there. And definately no heels.
Tickets are $22 per adult and $16 per student.
Be sure to sample some of the Dutch cusine and Dutch hot chocolate whilst you are here. And do take many photos of the wonderful flowers.
Many thanks to Study Melbourne for the invite.
