Sushi trains are becoming more the norm these days and so is anti social lonely dining. More and more people don't have the time for their friends neverless they only have half an hour to an houur's lunchbreak and people do take them late.
The place is small and very crowded at the busiest of times. More so they do not have a bathroom. You have to use the one in the food court they tell me, which is closed after 7pm. But the other one is outside of Big W and is a far walk.
The place is in place of the old newsagency outside of the train station. Oh and they do have water for their patrons but its a bit of an ask from them.
The sauv blanc was a bit strong for my liking. Here they do have sushi on the train but it is very expensive and not worth the price tag. Here I had the tamago sushi and it all fell apart. The prawn nigiri was just ok.
You can order hot food off them and it comes soon after. All of it is freshly made. Here I had the udon and the agedashi tofu. The udon was great and was piping hot. The noodles were silky smooth which is what you would look for in a Japanese udon dish.
The Agedashi tofu was alright but no moving bonito flakes- sad.
Rating: 13/20- have to agree with Sweet and Sour fork. It was just ok. Nothing more.
