As part of Bupa's best blog competition for 2015
Siracha sauce with Char Sieu and rice
With corn as veggies
Serves 1
Cooked White rice- you can use yesterday's rice
Char Sieu- you can buy the char sieu from Asian places such as Saigon Market etc. You only just need a few small pieces.
Sriracha Chilli Sauce is set to be huge this
year. Used in many Asian restaurants in Melbourne
this is already popular.
Siracha sauce can be bought at many Asian
grocery stores for about $5-$7 per bottle and it will last a while.
You can use this as a dipping sauce for
many items such as Spring rolls or as a cooking sauce for noodles and things. I
have tried it with bibimpap and loved it.
Siricha sauce is very hot in flavour. I
suggest that this is not for the faint hearted, rather it is for the people
that love chilli.

For corn we used Coles corn which was $0.83 a can and was on special.
Mix and Enjoy.
Sriracha is available in all supermarkets and Asian grocery stores.
