Burgerbuzz is the little sister of Brunswick Burger Buzz. They are a tiny shop which had just opened about three weeks ago. They opened at the beginning of January
I bought the Groupon for $10 for one burger, fries and soft drink, expecting good things to come out of it. It sort of did. Well for starters staff were handling food with their bare hands; no gloves, no tongs. And it was an extra $2.50 for my veggie burger with pumpkin. They also handled my cash with bare hands. But at least I think their hands and place is clean. I gave them that friendly suggestion of gloves and they seemed to take it on board.
It was very quiet for a Friday lunchtime when the market was really busy. The owner was training a new guy in making burgers. Now this made me wonder: do they have any job openings?
But the burger was good for the most of it. The cheese melted really well and the siracha went well with the pumpkin and cheese. But the bun, although toasted was cold. The lettuce though was fresh and I enjoyed the tzatziki. It was fresh and very creamy. However they were stingy on the pickle, only including one little sad one.
But the chips were just brilliant. Nicely salted and crunchy.
Rating: 10/20- could be better. Ah well give them some time to adjust and things could be better. Now I understand the 42% rating on Urbanspoon.
