Disclaimer: I was invited as a guest but all thoughts are my own.
Billy Lane Bar is in Therry St near the market and the Multicultural Hub. The same people that own the pool tables also own the bar. Hence the bar is a fun place to relax and you can play pool in there. The bathrooms are right where the pool tables are.
Here they specialise in gimmicky drinks for under $12. They also have the non alcoholic and milk tea ($2) seemed to work well with me.
I also had my lemonade ($3) which I think people will find it to be a little bit pricey in a wee cup. But I didn't mind though. It had too much ice in there.
The tea on the other hand is great. The tea tastes like teh tarik which is good for on a winters day. I love teh tarik.
They offered sushi around. My favourite one would have to be the avocado one. The salmon ones were just ok, not the greatest. The meat ones were a little bit dry.
Verdict: Would come here for the drinks though. Many thanks for the invite.
