New International students guide to Melbourne- Food and fun

Now that you have done the essentials and found a house; its time to have some fun and food shopping.
South Melbourne's famous dim sims. You have to try them in Melbourne.

Visit the markets
Melbourne has many markets for you to visit, free of charge. And guess what you can take your camera and take many shots. Many markets will have lots of samples of food for you to try before you buy. They are all covered in this blog

Melbourne also has its art markets on the weekend.
At the Sunday Art Market. One of Melbourne's best Art Markets

Free stuff to do in Melbourne
Visit Federation Square on the weekend as it is always bustling with activity. There's heaps of free entertainment and festivals on the weekend.

St Kilda Beach and the markets are nice to visit on a nice sunny, spring like day.

The museums and galleries are free for students to visit. But some of the more independent ones might attract a cost. Its usually under $10.

Cafes
I'd suggest visiting Cumulus Inc for breakfast as they do a decent $16 all you can eat breakfast with coffee and juice and it is amazing.

But if you want to venture out do stop by Ganache Chocolates in South Yarra and Chez Dre in South Melbourne.

Where's your best places to hang in Melbourne?
