Partially sponsored by Melbourne Central and GPT Gift card.
Last month at the League of Extraordinary Women I got a $10 gift card from Melbourne Central to be used at one of their participating stores. This is like an EFTPOS card with a PIN number at the back.
You can buy these at the Melbourne Central Customer service desk where you can nominate any amount you want and that person get to spend it on anything that they like in Melbourne Central.
One of my likes is food.
Everytime when I go to Hoyts I pass by Grill'd and have always wanted to try but never found the time or the money. So when I got the gift card I thought that I would give it a chance.
This outlet looks clean and is bright and inviting. I loved all the plants in there.
They have eat in and takeaway. Given the rainy day, A lot of people chose to eat in.
They have great WI-FI which is by RMIT University. RMIT students can sign into their account.
They do alcoholic drinks such as the Rekorderling slushies. But for the non alcholics there is the virgin Mary's as well.
The chips I bought them myself for a mere $3.50. I didn't really need sauce as they were so flavoursome without. The herbs made up for it. Sauce is an additional $0.70 extra. If you can, do without it. Your wallet will thank you.
The field of dreams was lovely ($11.50- I paid $1.50 for it), but a bit messy to eat. So don't wear your nicest clothes to eat this.
Loved the pesto sauce in this. It is SO GOD DAM GOOD
The burger was really cheesy.
Grill'd supports three different charities per month and they change all the time. There is one jar for each charity. With every burger purchase you get one bottle top which can be put in the jar. For every bottle top you put in the jar it equals to $1 donated to the charity of your choice.
Many thanks to Melbourne Central and GPT for the gift card and the chance to dine at Grill'd. I would love to come again for my healthy burger fix after a movie.
