MCG Open Day and the Food store

Today after my run went to the MCG for their open day. It was free except for the tours and photographs which were $5-$10 each. Also the store at the MCG had their half price sale on everything.

Here I sat back and relaxed and watched the kids kick the footy and there was many of them. Many of them also lined up for a live interview.

I have been to the Food Store twice. Once it was for free with Engaging Melbourne and the other time was today. Now this time I paid for my food- the first time I did not. I had their meat pie which is the traditional football food. Here this was a four and twenty pie. This time I had their Four and twenty king sized sausage roll and it is one of the better ones. Here this was flaky like its supposed to be and really great. It worked well with my chips.

Afterwards there was donuts and as always are fingerlickly good. But they are calories so only enjoy them once and yes I did spill a bit of jam on my shoes. But I cleaned it up.

Many thanks to the MCG for this fun and educational day.
