Geppettos

Geppettos is an Italian place in East Melbourne and there is also a store in Kew. But the one in East Melbourne is participating in the Gusto Italiano program where they promote good quality Italian dining. The place was promoted to Zomato that day too. Online including ourselves they have three reviews and they always wanted to promote more.

Here the place is tiny and it was busy for a Wednesday night. I thought that they were understaffed. They were slow on the service but they did have a big group upstairs. The service was attentive but they did make some mistakes on my bill which I gently reminded them about.

Bread and olives

They had a $20 share plate for two with wine for Gusto Italiano. But I had their linguine marinara which was good. The pasta was al dente and the seafood and cheese were plenty. This was $27 for a mian. They also had complimentary sides such as vegetable aranchini, green olives, olive tapenade and bread. I enjoyed all of them.

Now I also enjoyed the gelato which was homemade. It had that nice nutty crunch to it and it was good for a warm spring day. It was lovely and creamy

Rating: 16/20- perfect and they should invite some more bloggers to visit this place as it doesn't get a whole lot of mentions online. They should also participate in Yelp's loyalty program/
