The Post Office Gallery is such an old building. Built in 1837 this is a historic old landmark which has been around for centuries.
Inside of it you can find your favorite country foods in the Visitor Centre as well as the lovely Volunteers. It is not the same in Melbourne where it is a lot bigger and there is no food items sold there.
In fact this Visitor Centre sells the "Spotted Dog" fudge which I really enjoyed over at the Food and Wine expo. So I bought that as well as locally made jam from the region's finest.
Next door there was an art expo which is all about costumes and crockery from the 1930's. I really liked a few in particular and they are in the photos. It is a gold coin donation to enter it.
Next time when you are in Bendigo do check out the gorgeous Post Office Gallery and the Visitor Centre.
