Mesh is a buffet place but they also do a la carte and it is in Crown. I didn't know that they existed as I have never been to the Crown Promenade which is behind Crown towers and looked a little bit more expensive.
When I saw the $12.95 special I thought that I would give this a go. Seeing as it was the Body transformation challenge I thought that I would give salmon a go. I booked ahead thinking that many people would get this deal, surprisingly it was not that busy during the mid week.
The service staff were friendly but forgot my bread until I reminded them. The place looks very clean and high end although it is catered for families.
When I looked at the picture I thought that I would get a lot, but I only got about half the size, more like an entrée. Luckily I had a salad before I came. Luckily the bread was good.
The fish was just average and there wasn't a lot of gnocchi on the plate. If I had to pay $20+ I would not be happy with that amount.
Rating: 12/20-meagre meal. Could have added more.
