As part of Bupa's best blog competition for 2015
RNIS went shopping with their friends from the RMIT Queer department.
Laguna is on the third floor of QV shopping centre. It is right across corridor from the apratments and Officeworks. It is mainly serviced by students for its cheap prices and close proximity to RMIT.
Here they have whole wide range of drinks and snacks as well as the everyday foods such as tofu. My friend who is pescatarian found her type of tofu there.
Drinks were priced from $1-$3 per 1.5 Lt bottle.
They have a huge variety of snacks- in fact they have about 3-4 huge aisles of these, some of which are Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, Korean etc. Most of them are priced moderately from $3-$10 per pack. I found one big bundle of eight Pocky packs for $9.
Do you love jellies? They have them here too.
And there are some really nice two minute noodles here too. These are not your average Maggi brand noodles.
We bought everything for just under $100. I think the place is cash only and its staffed by Asian uni students. There was one girl on that day and she was alright.
Students do come here for your Asian grocery needs
