They are an organic bakery. Before 2012 this used to be Movida Bakery, but now it is Tivoli Road Bakery. I have never been to Movida Bakery so I would have no clue.
I visited the bakery twice. Once to get a take away doughnut and the other time for a sit down coffee, sandwich and donuts.
The place reminds me a little of Crumbs Organic bakery in which they bake their own bread and make their own doughnuts.
The staff are down to earth and very very friendly with their customers. They have EFTPOS and Paypass.
They don't have a lot of seating so most people just get take away. They are a cute little cafe tucked away behind Chapel st.
Their doughnuts ($3.50 each are to die for). I got the salted caramel both times and the lemon curd this time. They also have one other flavour but it changes. Like Zumbo's patisserie they specialise in food rather than the coffee. But today's short black was stellar ($3.50). The beans are by Small batch and the coffee tasted like medicine.
But if you want savory they have sandwiches ($9.50 which rotate every day) and sausage rolls and meat pies. Rather than the bottled sauce they have homemade chutney which is a favourite with the locals.
They are your traditional Australian bakery. Do try a meat pie or sandwich here. And if you are a sweet tooth like me you can't go past the salted caramel which melts in the mouth.
