I ordered takeaway food to be picked up on Menulog.
I picked up my stuff just before 12 noon. As a first timer ordering to this place I received a 10% discount.
Bamboo City is a small takeaway store in Melbourne Central food court. They don't have any seating,instead all the seating is in the food court. I was served by an older guy who roughly handed me my stuff
They are famous for their jiaozi but I couldn't find any vegetarian, pescatarian jiaozi on the menu.
The veggie buns were huge for $5.50 for 2. But they were also bland and the skin was thick on one side. The veggies were plenty
I had spring onions with fish and vegetables with rice for $12. The fish was really soft and soggy. It was overcooked and I think they microwaved the rice. I really didn't enjoy this meal except for the vegetables, but who can stuff up vegetables?
However I liked the ginger sauce but also who can stuff this up?
Rating: 8/20-very disappointed. I ended up not finishing the meal and giving some of it away. Never again.
