As part of Bupa's best blog competition for 2015 as it is a health food place
STREAT is a little store at RMIT giving skills to people in need. They are a charity helping the homeless with free coffees when people hand in their filled coffee card.
Like Melbourne Central they sell food, but a limited amount. They sell the same sandwiches made freshly. It is run by staff and volunteers which are very friendly
My sandwich was lovely. It was made with the freshest ingredients sourced locally. The juice was also lovely too and there was no added sugars except from the sugars from the natural oranges.
My sandwich didn't take long and they were happy to add spinach in which gives it some protein to the meal.
Its a good thing that RMIT are putting in more healthy food options for students and staff in the city campus. They should do the same for the other campuses.
