Zam Zam is a Malaysian restaurant known for their cheap meals and big serves. They are also a takeaway joint. They have been around for a few years and are popular with the student bloggers. But they are also in a place in the city where there are quite a few Malaysian eateries.
The place is near RMIT.
Menulog seemed to have forgotten my order and had asked me to reconfirm this morning. So I did and managed to get the order. I was worried that I wasn't going to get my order.
I ordered maggie mee noodles with seafood ($11) and a plain roti ($2).
The Maggie Mee goreng was quite spicy. If you don't like spice then this is not for you. But I like spice and can stand the heat. I even added my own siracha to this when I brought it to the office. The noodles were just right and there was enough wok hei in there.
To break up all the spice I ordered a plain roti. Now I like rotis when they are done well and this was done well. It was nice and fluffy with a little bit of sweetness.
Rating: 14/20- Fulfilling meal and I had some leftover noodles for dinner. Now I wondered why I hadn't checked it out sooner or later
