Taco Bill is on Collins st in city between Queen and William st. They have been really popular with the after work crowd and students for some time. They have a great happy hour, lunch and dinner specials here and they are always changing from time to time.
RNIS bought a Groupon for $20 for $40 to spend and they decided to come for a mid week dinner. We knew we had to book ahead as it is only a small restaurant and it gets busy quickly.
Here we had their special of fish taco ($6) and their Seafood Queasidilla ($23.95). We also had a lemon slushee something which I have never tried. We also had their complimentary chips and salsa and the chips were not as good as the ones in South Melbourne. The ones in South Melbourne are the bomb and these were tasteless and wet.
Their fish taco was a little on the dry side. The salsa was fresh and the fish was cooked well but the tortilla was on the dry side.
The Seafood Queasidilla was good but I think there was a little bit too much sauce in mine and I don't like sour cream that much. But I do like the Habenaro which they were a little bit slow in getting this for me.
The lemon slushee was good though.
Rating: 15/20- the South Melbourne store was much better with their chips and salsa.
