How very lovely my darling to be outside in the garden sipping French champagne and enjoying music.
The French Affaire was an initiative by the Country Women's Association and I first found out about it via Weekend notes. It was a free event except for the soiree where funds from it goes to Save the children charity. To enter the soiree it was $10.

Nougats for sampling |
By the time we arrived there wasn't a lot of people.

Ecclairs |
|
Different chutneys and jams on offer |
|
Cheese platters |
|
Quiche |
Here we sampled lots and lots of French food including Rachelette (French cheese). Ooh lalala.
We also visited the Country women's Bed and Breakfast and took a tour and it was so pretty inside.
But the music is what kept us going and the dancing in the dark. Having a candlelit dinner was really fun as well.
I hope this event is on again next year.
