I was invited by the restaurant so I took along Akira of Happy Leandro.
Miam Miam is a French and Japanese fusion place in Chadstone shopping centre. Here it is more like dining with a casual twist. This is the trend nowadays.
The decor was so Frenchy, so chic. It really reminded me of Lady and the Tramp. I had walked past this place so many times and it looked really expensive. I had wanted to visit for the coffee but I always came a bit too late for that (mainly afternoons and I don't do coffee then).
Here when I came at 1pm the place was busy and the phone was ringing off the hook. I was served by lovely staff who had everything ready for me as soon as I came in.
I had their squid ink pasta which was yummy. It was peppery and spicy both of which I like. I have never tried squid ink pasta before but I enjoyed it. But for those that hate spicy foods this is mild.
Akira had the mixed spaghetti to which he loved. I also tried it as well and it was al dente.
The servings for the main were just the right size
The souffle was just to die for. We shared this as we were full from the pasta. Actually the small size is great for us
I loved their speciality matcha drinks as they reminded me of Japan and Akira is from Japan and so he loved his drink.
Verdict: I would come again just for the coffee and sweets. Many thanks to Belinda for inviting me.
Do expect to spend about $20-$40 per pax.
