Organic Empire is a small organic shop in Monbulk and is Australian. They also do delivery of boxes to people in the city that can't come out. Right now they are having a student special of $28 per box
Last week Organic Empire gave these free breakfast packs for students and in it it had Apple juice, muesli and fruit.
The apple juice was quite sweet and unlike the commercial versions it had real fruit in there. It really tasted like a very sweet apple.
This week I tried out the muesli and the pack was enough for three days. They are in a sealed package so you need scissors to open them. They taste a lot like oats, but add some nuts in there and its just perfect.
I have always loved their fresh fruits
Here is their recipe (which is taken from the Organic Empire site).
Ingredients:
½ cup organic rolled oats
¼ cup fresh apple juice
¼ cup organic yoghurt (sugar free is best)
handful organic sultanas
a sprinkling of ground organic cinnamon
1/4 organic Granny Smith apple, grated (skin on) to serve or organic banana
Organic Seasonal berries and chopped organic almonds.

BIRCHER MUESLI
Ingredients:
½ cup organic rolled oats
¼ cup fresh apple juice
¼ cup organic yoghurt (sugar free is best)
handful organic sultanas

Organic Seasonal berries and chopped organic almonds.
Description:
Combine the rolled oats, juice, currants or sultanas, and cinnamon in a large bowl and stir together. Chill overnight.
To serve, stir in the grated apple and yoghurt, put into a bowl and garnish with berries and crispy almonds
