Fob Rolls

Fob rolls is a new place in the Tivoli arcade.  They were opened ever since the 1st of June 2013 but because all the students have moved to the main campus they haven't been as busy. On a side note: Chatterbox has closed and as such a new store is replacing it.

They have however been featured in the Age and the Age Cheap eats. Here they have lunch specials for $10 and under which includes a drink and they do iced coffees Vietnamese style.

The service was very friendly with a smile.
They do banh mi which people say are awesome, but I haven't tried it as of yet. I was more interested in the rice paper rolls.

Here they serve authentic Vietnamese rolls, not like the big ones that you find in  most places. All of them are $2.50 each.

I have tried the prawn, tofu and duck rolls and they are freshly made. I'm not a fan of meat which hasn't been cooked properly. The meat in the duck one has been cooked all the way through. I was skeptical about ordering this but in the end got it and it did not disappoint.

The tofu was good as always. What's even better was the hosin sauce.

People do check this awesome lil kitchy place in the Tivoli arcade other than ROll'd as it is cheaper and much more authentic. Sadly they only open for lunch during the weekdays and on Saturdays.
